We believe Can-Am made the bar hollow trying to build the lightest car possible, unfortunately for an off-road car like this, a sway bar made of thin wall tubing is not conducive to longevity. The Maverick R also tends to have an excessive amount of body roll, which can cause the car to react slower when turning and changing directions due to the body rolling excessively. Testing with the Cognito sway bar resulted in less ‘diving’ of the chassis in turns, reacting quicker in turns and reacting quicker when changing directions in turns.
