The Clutch Standard Weight Kit for TAPP Primary gives you full control over your low-speed shift points, high-speed RPM, and overall clutch response. Whether you’re dune riding, drag racing, or dialing in a big-horsepower build, this kit provides the precision weight tuning needed to hit your exact target RPM.

TAPP clutches allow weight adjustments in two ways:

• Set screws in the clutch arms

• Washers on the roller thru bolt

Set screws primarily affect low-speed shift points and will drop max RPM when added.
Roller bolt weight behaves like traditional tip weight — adjusting high-speed RPM more than anything else on the curve.

This kit is required for proper tuning and is compatible with all TAPP Primary clutches.

Standard Weight Kit Includes:

• Eight (8) 1/2" Allen screws

• Four (4) 1-1/2" Roller bolts

• Four (4) 1-3/4" Roller bolts

• Four (4) 2" Roller bolts

• Four (4) nylon nuts

• Sixteen (16) regular washers

Important Safety Note:

Always add weight in pairs directly opposite each other. Uneven adjustments will cause clutch imbalance and may lead to clutch failure.

• Allen screws measure .500" and weigh 2.7 grams each

• Two Allen screws add 5.2 grams

• All eight together add 20.8 grams
