The ODYSSEY Performance ODP-AGM96R is a BCI Group 96R Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) AGM battery for daily drivers and accessory-equipped vehicles carrying real electrical loads — dash cams, parking-mode electronics, telematics, upgraded audio, and USB chargers that keep drawing after the ignition is off.
If you are looking for a Group 96R battery around 600 CCA and 52 Ah (20-hour) with 90 minutes of reserve capacity, the ODP-AGM96R is the current version of the legacy 96R-600 part number.
TPPL construction packs more pure-lead plate surface into the same Group 96R case, so the ODP-AGM96R recovers charge under parasitic loads where standard absorbed-electrolyte AGM gradually loses ground, recharges faster, and delivers up to 400 cycles at 80% depth of discharge per EnerSys published ratings.
Group 96R has no ODYSSEY Extreme option; the ODP-AGM96R is the highest-output battery WCB carries for this group. The ODP-AGM96R is an automotive battery and is not positioned for marine or powersport applications.
