The ODYSSEY Extreme ODX-ACE31 is the connected version of the ODX-AGM31: a stud-terminal Group 31 Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) AGM battery with the built-in ODYSSEY Connect monitoring module. Patented microchip technology monitors State of Charge (SOC), State of Health (SOH), voltage, and temperature, and reports warnings, safety notifications, and performance trends over Bluetooth® to Apple® and Android™ devices — preventative maintenance and fleet insight for vehicles that cannot afford a no-start.
If you are looking for a Group 31 battery around 1150 CCA and 103 Ah (20-hour) with 220 minutes of reserve capacity, the ODX-ACE31 is the fit. Battery performance matches the ODX-AGM31; the difference is monitoring.
Small loads add up: per EnerSys parasitic-draw guidance and TMC RP140A, a combined 5-amp draw over a 60-hour weekend equals a 300 Ah discharge. A weekend sit has little impact, but a week of continuous draw can pull a battery below 10.5 volts, and if that happens routinely, performance and life are impacted. Connect monitoring makes that draw visible before it becomes a no-start.
