The ODYSSEY Performance ODP-AGM48 is a BCI Group 48 (DIN H6 / EN LN3) Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) AGM battery for daily drivers and accessory-equipped vehicles, including start-stop equipped vehicles from 2012 onward, carrying real electrical loads — dash cams, parking-mode electronics, telematics, upgraded audio, and USB chargers that keep drawing after the ignition is off.
If you are looking for a Group 48, H6, or LN3 battery around 760 CCA and 70 Ah (20-hour) with 130 minutes of reserve capacity, the ODP-AGM48 is the current version of the legacy 48-720 part number.
TPPL construction packs more pure-lead plate surface into the same Group 48 case, so the ODP-AGM48 recovers charge under parasitic loads where standard absorbed-electrolyte AGM gradually loses ground, recharges faster, and delivers up to 400 cycles at 80% depth of discharge per EnerSys published ratings.
Group 48 has no ODYSSEY Extreme option; the ODP-AGM48 is the highest-output battery WCB carries for this group. The ODP-AGM48 is an automotive battery and is not positioned for marine or powersport applications.
