The ODYSSEY Performance ODP-AGM49 is a BCI Group 49 (DIN H8 / EN LN5) Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) AGM battery for daily drivers and accessory-equipped vehicles, including start-stop equipped vehicles from 2012 onward, carrying real electrical loads — dash cams, parking-mode electronics, telematics, upgraded audio, and USB chargers that keep drawing after the ignition is off.
If you are looking for a Group 49, H8, or LN5 battery around 950 CCA and 95 Ah (20-hour) with 190 minutes of reserve capacity, the ODP-AGM49 is the current version of the legacy 49-950 part number.
TPPL construction packs more pure-lead plate surface into the same Group 49 case, so the ODP-AGM49 recovers charge under parasitic loads where standard absorbed-electrolyte AGM gradually loses ground, recharges faster, and delivers up to 400 cycles at 80% depth of discharge per EnerSys published ratings.
Group 49 has no ODYSSEY Extreme option; the ODP-AGM49 is the highest-output battery WCB carries for this group. The ODP-AGM49 is an automotive battery and is not positioned for marine or powersport applications.
