Upgrade your Can-Am Defender HD11 with increased width, clearance, strength, and suspension capability. The Cedar Suspension Mid Travel Kit increases the Defender to approximately 72" hub-to-hub front and rear while maintaining a squared stance without rear wheel spacers.
Built in the USA from premium specialty steel, the complete bolt-on system includes high-clearance front A-arms, Delrin bushings, integrated steering stops, and necessary installation hardware. Does not include Tie Rods, Axles, Shocks, or Ball Joints
Fits 2025+ Can-Am Defender HD11 Limited models equipped with Smart-Lok.

Designed specifically for the Can-Am Defender HD11, the Cedar Suspension Mid Travel Kit expands the suspension footprint while adding high-clearance components built for demanding trail, work, and backcountry use.
The front suspension is widened approximately 3.5 inches and the rear approximately 4.5 inches, resulting in an approximately 72-inch hub-to-hub width at both ends of the vehicle. The squared configuration allows matching front and rear wheels without requiring rear wheel spacers.
BUILT FOR SERIOUS OFF-ROAD USE
High-Clearance Front A-Arms
High-clearance front A-arms provide additional room underneath the suspension for navigating rocks, ruts, and uneven terrain.
Premium Steel Construction
Laser-cut specialty steel is used throughout the suspension structure, with machined components manufactured from 4130 chromoly for additional strength in critical areas.
TIG Welded in the USA
Components are hand TIG welded in the USA with internal and external gusseting and additional reinforcement at critical stress points.
Integrated Steering Stops
Integrated steering stops are incorporated into the system to retain the intended steering geometry throughout the suspension upgrade.
Grooved Delrin Bushings
Durable Delrin suspension bushings feature precision grease grooves designed to distribute lubrication for smooth operation and long-term durability.
Greaseable A-Arms
Pre-installed grease fittings on the A-arms simplify routine suspension maintenance.
A COMPLETE MID-TRAVEL SYSTEM
This isn't simply a set of wider control arms. The kit includes the supporting drivetrain and steering components required for the increased suspension width, creating a complete system designed around the Defender HD11.
The suspension utilizes the factory mounting locations for a true bolt-on installation with no cutting required.

COMPLETE THE SYSTEM WITH THE RIGHT SHOCK SETUP
Factory shocks can be used with the mid-travel kit, but upgrading the shocks is recommended to take full advantage of the additional suspension capability. Proper spring rate, damping, and shock setup allow the chassis and suspension geometry to work together for improved control across rough terrain.
BUILT FOR UP TO 35" TIRES
The increased suspension width and clearance allow the Defender HD11 to accommodate up to a 35-inch tire depending on wheel offset, tire dimensions, and vehicle setup. High-offset wheels are recommended.
Some wheel and tire combinations may experience rubbing. Always verify clearance through the full steering and suspension range before operation.

How wide does the Mid Travel Kit make the Defender HD11?
The kit produces an approximately 72-inch hub-to-hub width at both the front and rear. It adds approximately 3.5 inches of width at the front and 4.5 inches at the rear.
What size tires can I run?
The kit is designed to accommodate up to a 35-inch tire depending on wheel offset and tire dimensions. Some combinations may rub, and high-offset wheels are recommended.
Are new axles required?
Yes. Because of the increased suspension width, longer axles are required.
Are tie rods included?
No. But you can add our SDi Elite Heavy Duty Tie Rods!Â
Can I use the factory shocks?
Factory shocks are compatible with the kit. However, upgraded shocks are recommended to take full advantage of the increased suspension capability. SDi offers two options, Terrain Master & E-CLIK
Does installation require cutting or welding?
No. The system is designed as a direct bolt-on kit using the Defender's factory suspension mounting locations.
